Use Czech on Palm OS device with Czech PiLoc

Czech PiLoc provides Czech Palm OS localization.

Czech PiLoc localization creates an environment to operate with Palm OS in Czech. PiLoc is a common solution of Palm OS localization problem, chosen by a number of Palm OS device resellers, including Czech Republic.

At the European PalmSource Developer Conference 2003 PiLoc Palm OS localization technology was recognized as the winner of 2003 European Palm Powered Up Award in the Productivity Tools category.

• Alternative Czech Graffiti/Graffiti 2 layouts to write Czech letters. Letters in Czech Graffiti/Graffiti 2 layouts look similar to their natural hand-written styles.
• Alternative on-screen keyboard layout for Czech letters input.
• Special module for external keyboard is included. Allows using portable keyboards to type in Czech.
• Correct Czech text search and sorting operations.
• Special add-on utility CzechToGo allows using Czech in Word To Go application.
• Optional: full translation of Palm OS to Czech (all icons, menu, dialogs of built-in Palm OS applications will be translated). Please, check if your device is supported at Czech PiLoc Download Wizard.
• Possibility to install and use several Palm OS localization systems (for example, Czech and Slovak).

You can use Czech on your Palm device, if you set Czech as system language in PiLoc option dialog.	Czech on-screen keyboard layout.
Full version of PiLoc Czech. Palm OS interface is translated into Czech language.	PiLoc supports the right sorting order for combination of letters which are considered in Czech as one letter.
An example. Preferences in Tasks application are translated to Czech language too.	The system alert in Czech.

I want to write in my language and now I can

"When I bought my Tungsten T, I was a little disappointed, because I wrote text with accents on PC and Palm is not ready to make it possible to write with accents for Czech or Slovak users. I buy Czech Piloc, and after install to my Tungsten and switch to Czech Language, I can write Memos with accents with Graffiti. It is simple, just write down the letter and then the symbol for accent. Some names or words in Czech language have a different meaning when you write it down without accents and this cause me some trouble before I use Piloc. Now I can read text on my Palm without to think about meaning of word, because it is showed in right way. For writing longer texts I use Universal Wireless keyboard with 5 rows. With support for external keyboard in Piloc I can write emails, texts, memos on lectures, like on normal keyboard on PC, because on the numerical line I have letters with accents and now, for example, I needn''t press Alt+V and "z" to write ž. Czech piloc on my Tungsten T runs fine, has no incompatibility with others apps. It is a solid piece of utility, that everyone who wants to write in his national language should have."

The best multilingual solution for Palm

"Because I needed not only support for Polish, my native language, but for Czech too I was looking for the best solution to do it. Polish PiLoc I got with my Tungsten C when I got it. I tried then Czech PiLoc eval and it suited me. Together with PiLoc Monitor they are pretty good for me and my activity.
