Use Romanian on Palm OS device with Romanian PiLoc

Romanian PiLoc provides Romanian Palm OS localization.

Romanian PiLoc creates an environment to operate with Palm OS in Romanian. PiLoc is a common solution of Palm OS localization problem, chosen by a number of Palm OS device resellers.

• Alternative on-screen keyboard layout for Romanian letters input.
• Special module for external keyboard is included. Allows using portable keyboards to type in Romanian.
• Correct Romanian text search and sorting operations.
• Optional: full translation of Palm OS to Romanian (all icons, menu, dialogs of built-in Palm OS applications will be translated). Please, check if your device is supported at Romanian PiLoc Download Wizard.
• Possibility to install and use several localization systems (for example, Romanian and Hungarian).
• Possibility to use custom fonts instead of the default ones: any ready font can be converted to be installed toghether with PiLoc with the special Fonts Compiler utility.
• Romanian language support launches automatically after system reset. Program is protected from cycling reset.
• Supports installation into a Flash-ROM.
• Open API allows developers to change PiLoc parameters from their applications at run-time.

Special utility PiLoc Monitor allows to configure national language support for each application separately.

You can use Croatian on your Palm device, if you set Romanian as system language in PiLoc option dialog.	Romanian on-screen keyboard layout is the same as on desktop computer

Very good product, very good support

"This is a very good product. It does what it says on the box. The support is great too. I had Romanian PiLoc on my old Sony Clie SJ30. When I changed my PDA to Palm Tungsten T, I've just sent them an email with my new device ID. In less than one day they sent me the serial number for my device and the download link for the newest version. Their e-Care system is wonderful. Try this software, you'll end up buying it."

"Dear friends I am a Palm user. For a couple of years I?ve been using a Palm IIIxe and now I am on m500 product. It is so good for organizing your life and business. I am a Romanian speaking person and it happened that I downloaded into my Palm the Romanian Bible. I enjoyed reading it but get frustrated of the little bugy signs corresponding to the specific Romanian characters. I?ve been asking around how could I fix that problem and I was advised to look on the Internet. So I did, and I found the language localization software at Handandgo. I downloaded the Romanian Demo version to see if it works, and to my surprise and happiness it worked very well. It was so easy to learn the graffiti writing and very soon I was using it for my notes and address book. Most of that, all the Word documents and Excel sheets came out in a great new way. I?ve got use to it and in love with it until I realize that the Demo version is time limited. I managed to reinstall the Romanian PiLoc Lite for few more times on my handheld but after that the system went back on the default running. It was so different and uneasy. So I started to look for a way to get the register version. I planed that in my next business trip to Moscow to contact the Paragon office and get the soft but since the event would be at more than two month distance I decided to buy it online. I've got it and I am excited using it. I am continuing to use the English Default but Romanian PiLoc gives another dimension to my Palm. It is easy to use, very convenient and gives me the filling that I am home. PiLoc makes me not only use my Palm but enjoy it."
